Like a Viirgin... How to 'unhack' a Wii?
Hi, I'm new here. I'm brazilian and my English isn't good. I just hacked my Wii with Homebrew Channel and USB loader, and, to do that, I had to install some IOS, like IOS249 and IOS36rev10!
What I want is: how can I make my Wii like it was when I unpacked its boxes for the first time? If I format the system memory, all hacked IOS would simply disapear? I found a program (NUS) that download official content from Nintendo Server: all I read was that all IOS above 200 could be removed by 'Anytitledeleter', but that program shows that the Nintendo Server has some IOS like 222, 249, 254... I'm confused. Sorry about this mess. And about the IOS36rev10, if I just install an official IOS36, it will be replaced? I know this topic has too many questions... Sorry.
Just in case: I searched all on the internet, but I found for Wii 3.2. My console is 4.2
Thanks! But a quick quetion: if I install a Systm Menu WAD, It will take blocks from my Wii or it will replace the hacked one?
I don't understand what you mean about "blocks". When you mod your Wii your not really changing anything to do with the System Menu. Your just installing channels basically and then loading Custom IOSs on the system to make certain games run. By doing the downgrade option, then the SAFE Update, it's helping you wipe a lot of mods out of the console already, then use AnyTitleDeleter to get rid of any pesky mods that are still lingering.

'Blocks' is the way that Nintendo use to count memory spaces. Like MegaByte, but Blocks! NGC memory card uses that too.
OK, Thanks. I just want to chack: I have to downgrade, then update and remove with NANDClean and Anytitleupdater. OK? Thanks again!
I'll see the details on the topic you gave.
If I've helped in any way, show your appreciation by clicking on the Thanks button for me.
