hi i have got a 3.2 wii and made the mistake of updateing to 4.2 offical and now trying to get the wii back by useing the nand backup and then starting over to upgrade to 4.2 the problem is now
the wii will not boot up with nand backup or anything else when i switch the wii on it just has a black screen on the tv nothing else
what can i do now ????

The 4.2 update would have overwritten your bootmii and remove bootmii/boot2. This means it is not possible to restore your NAND. Your only option is to send the console to nintendo for repairs.
thankyou for your reply i have still got bootmil etc on sd card but nothing seems to work and the wii does not see sd card at all not even nand backup it was working yesterday but as it is not my wii i did not have the backup untill today
hi i am woundering if it is possible to boot from a flash drive as at the moment the wii is not seeing the sd card
read carefully what shadowsonic2 said. You have NO bootmii because the 4.2 update overwrote it. You CANNOT restore your NAND because you have NO BOOTMII installed on your Wii.
