Wii updated to 4.2, unable to softmod
I recently updated my Wii to 4.2, (I know I'm very stupid to do so...).
Before that I had HBC working just fine, and I used cioscorp for playing my games via the disk channel.
But everything is gone now, the HBC, and I think every cIOS I installed, because I can't seem to play any burned backup.
And that's not all, I recently bought my copy of Guitar Hero 5, and it isn't working...
I tried everything to get my HBC back, (bannerbomb v2 and other methods I found searching the internet), and I tried various guides including one from this site.
How can I get it all back to work?
are you loading bannerbomb right? it's different than the earlier version.
once you get that sorted, you can install the new cioscorp 3.5 if you want to keep going that route.
my guess is that since the version numbers of the ios's got maxed out, they didn't get updated. but 4.2 runs on a different ios, so that might be preventing you from being able to launch games, since it's not patched. I've never used cioscorp to boot discs since I have a mod chip, so don't quote me on that.
if gh5 isn't working, it sounds like a problem with your ios56. which version of cioscorp did you install?
first off is to get bannerbomb to work. then go from there.
Bannerbomb is working, I can start the apps I want, like DOP IOS MOD, but the apps themself aren't working...

hbc won't install because of your tampered ios's. is there a cioscorp uninstaller?
that or load up the new cioscorp 3.5 and see what happens. ios61 should be untampered.
