recently got a flatmii 125, i am encountering a couple of problems.
1 - whenever i disconnect power from the wii or unplug the flatmii 125 usb dongle, i always have to plug it back into my computer to get the flatmii 125 to play backup discs again. is there anyway to set/flash/default this to flatmod only?
2 - also after i play mario kart - original disc, i cannot play backup discs. i have to plug my computer back into the flatmii125 and unplug it for it to work again.
sorry if i am unclear, hoping the community here can help me out. i have email flatmii125 support and havent heard back yet.
I've got this exact problem and it is perplexing...

Please post here any findings and I will do the same. I'm trying different things to see if they work.
i tried everything you did. i was in contact with flatmii 125 support, they were not really helpful at all. they told me it was defective and was going to send me a new one. i gave up on it
disappointing since i had a flatmod previously and the thing worked flawless.
i have since installed a drivekey. sorry i couldnt help.
I had a similar problem with the original flatmii, what solved it was not to plug the usb dongle in the Wii usb port.
With the dongle plugged in the Wii usb port and then obviously plug the mini usb cable to the pc I had problems. Once I didn't plug the dongle in the Wii usb port and just had the mini usb cable it worked fine.
I ended up sticking the usb dongle of the flat mii to the side of my Wii with double sided tape.
The only reason I can think is that with the Wii powering the dongle then also your pc power it at the same time, its causing a short or a power conflict when your pc detects the mini usb port.
Trust me what I did works and it now works perfect.
It could be a slightly different situation with the other posts but I have a feeling this could be the issue.
