Hello, I have gotten myself into a little awkward situation here..
When I tried to hack a 4.0E Wii from a friend, I followed this guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html
I installed Bootmii and HBC, changed some IOS's, installed Pre-loader, NEOGamma R7, and I didn't get my burnt games to work. For some reason I thought "maybe I can get my games to work after I've installed cIOSCORP 3.4" and so I installed it, and my games still didn't work.
So I decided "screw it, i'll hack this Wii like I did with my own Wii last week" and I updated to 4.2E via Nintendo's update. When I did this with my own Wii, I just had to do the bannerbomb 4.2 thingie, install hbc through the bootmii-menu, and I was up and running. I followed this guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...tem-menus.html
However, because I installed cIOSCORP I can't get bootmii to run. So I must uninstall cIOSCORP 3.4.
I found this topic http://www.wiihacks.com/general-home...em-format.html
It told me to use bannerbomb to execute the cIOSCORP 3.4 Uninstaller. I got a Wii with serial number LEH..... so I needed this version of the uninstaller:
Downloads - Wii Homebrew Apps - cIOSCORP Uninstaller (Normal)
I downed it, put it on my SD card, along with Bannerbomb4.2, I put the boot.dol from the uninstaller in the root of the card, loaded bannerbomb on my Wii and I got a black screen after I clicked "ok (or yes, or load, or whatever there is to choose when you load the SD card)".
So now what? Try the LUH64-version of the cIOSCORP uninstaller?
Please try to help me I promised my girlfriend's kid brother that I would hack his Wii and I now sort of have messed up bigtime
You do not have to UN-install Cioscorp in order to install BOOTMII.
