SSBB+error 4100+cios damage
New to wii modding but not a complete noob, did a lot of searching and got everything currently working but if anyone can tell me what happen here would greatly appreciate it.
Most of what I was using:
Software : 4.1u update:Homebrew:USB loader1.4:Cios38rev14:WAD loader 1.5:Trucha:Gamma:
Hardware: LU38 Wii : 1TB mybook : 256mb SD card:
Using USB loader 1.4 with a Mybook 1TB. Worked great, SSBB was working awesome online. I go to play campaign first fight at end of fight error message wii crashes. After that homebrew was not working correctly, and seems i had cios damage. Using the all might search for help and after reformating the wii and using gamma loader with rev14 i can play once again and homebrew works so on. But i cant load USB loader 1.4 or 1.5 i get error message 4100 via Wad loader on cios 249, cant find to many threads on error message 4100. The ones that i did find did not help, i tried cios36 and i think i got -1 error message. Games work so i am happy i would like to use usb loader 1.5 but cant, plus the fact i am now paranoid to try to play SSBB campaign. Any info and any help is always appreciated and if i did miss a thread on some of these problems, then i am greatly sorry.
# One thing i did find via google is comments on SSBB that when mario uses squirt gun it crashes? some patch for this or ?

iirc 4100 meads your wad files is screwed, get usb loader from another source (plenty of links in the tutorials section of the forum)
As for SSBB, to play from USB, in the solo modes, you need Hermes cIOS 222/223. cIOS38 rev14 has problems with Dual Layer games.
Thanks dave, i just fixed that. I did it off my laptop instead of the desktop and it worked. SSBB screwed me up. So should i just add Hermes cIOS 222/223 ? does it replace rev14?
Thanks again for the help, i really do not like posting for help since i know 99% of problems can be fixed just by using search.
no, it doesnt replace it, but in your loader you wil lbe able to select 222 or 223 as the ios to use.
