When burning a game to a disc, does the game have to be the same region as my wii?

    Topic title.
If I download a game of a different region and burn it, will it work on my wii?

I just burned a pal wii game using imgburn.
Put in in my USA wii, Loaded with Neogamma.
It's working but in black & white lol.
I'm still happy, it's the first game i got working.

why dont you just run the iso through regionfrii first before you burn it
    google regionfrii

i seem to find more ntsc isos out there and i need pal so i just run them through regionfree first before i burn the iso to disc
it changes them to pal in about 3 seconds also works the other way round

    then just burn as normal

edited as i called the wii isos roms

I think you mean iso because rom is Read Only Memory.
