Do NOT PM for Site or Wii Issues
·You can view the total amount of free memory blocks by going into the "Data Management" area of the Wii Settings. Once inside "Data Management", select "Channels" to see the available space in that section listed as "Blocks Open."
Thanks for the suggestion, but since my Wii has been soft-modded to the extreme that's not going to give me the information I need. I need to be able to take a good look at the files stored on my Wii and find the extraneous ones so I can eliminate them. Anyone have any suggestions?

Reason: extra info
Um no you should propbably see how man available blocks you have free on your wii. If it is not enough to download said rock band/ guitar hero/ i wield a plastic instrument content that move some of your channels and content to your sd card. Hopefully you have system menu 4.x
I have the newest system OS (I have LU64 wii) which I softmodded... Everything was working fine (including downloaded RB2 songs) until 2 days ago when I downloaded a couple new songs. I still don't know what's going on... I have cIOS249 rev13a installed but haven't made any other changes except installing HB channel and NeoGamma backup loader (both latest revs). This situation is very confusing...

I can confirm for him that available wii system memory blocks are not the issue. I am having the exact same issue/error message and I currently have 1300 blocks of wii memory free.

redownloading the songs fixed my problem. that's unfortunate, i really don't want to have to download all these songs again.

My problem is on another level. I get the same "restore to system memory" error since I moved my songs myself using the PC Tools to the SD card, so taking the advice here, I tried just redownloading. But now I can't download ANYTHING from the music store, despite it saying the WAD's being installed correctly, AND all songs showing as purchased. It kicks me out and gives me this:
"An error occured. Wait awhile and try again.
If the same error keeps appearing, visit support.nintendo.com.
Error Code: 204704"
So not only do the songs xfered from the PC work, but I can't download anything either =/
Anyone have any suggestions ????
I'm running via Disc (I have the original disc), hard modded Wii, and installed all the latest IOS's and what not.
This seems to be a widespread issue, as I'm in the same boat. I can download a song and play it off the SD card, but any song moved from my PC to the card isn't working. I don't have any idea how we'd go about fixing this.
EDIT: Woops, my bad. I'm in the same boat as the original poster. Didn't notice the guy above me necro'd it. Sorry.
