Why chip dosent want to work
I have moded a feew wii consoles without any problems with wiiclone. My last onse seems that dosent want to work.I have changed the wires 3 times and still nothing, solders seems to be ok.What could be wrong?Could be the chip faulty?Or im doing something worng?
Check serial number. If it is one of the newer (D2C) Wii's you will need to grab a D2Ckey from somewhere as the only modchip known to work with the D2C chipsets is the D2Ckey.
Wooo many instances of D2C!!! Uh right. I only know this because my Wii has a D2C chipset. =]
Serial number seems to be ok.Its not a d2c chip.Could be the chip faulty,it happens?

Thats possible, or you just screwed up a solder point =\
I have another question. Not to all my chip installed into consoles i have put the firmware after soldering and they have readed backups corectly without fw install. Can it be that wiikey clone chip came without any firmware in it and that to be the reasson dosent work, because i havent installed fw of the chip after it was put in the console?

I'm not too sure about how the Wiikey works, so I can't answer that question with much confidence.
You could always try just burning a FW disc and popping it in. If the chip wasn't installed properly you will just get an "Cannot Read Disc" kind of error.
how do i know if my wii has a d2c chipset, thank you!
