wtf is wrong with my wii!!?
well i recently hacked my wii using this tutorial http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...n-4-0-wii.html i then could not install wads with wad manager 1.4 so i searched and found this tutorial http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...s-any-wii.html which worked fine until i turned my wii off then i tried to turn it back on and all it did was go to a blank screen but the green led is on so i tried various things to get it back on then for some reason i tried taking the sd card out and turning it on which worked to my suprise but i still have problems
1. i have to take the sd card out everytime i turn on the wii or it will just be a blank black screen
2. i cannot play original gamecube games at all not even in gc booter when i use the disc channel and click start it just restarts my wii and when i put it in gcbooter same thing but i can for some reason play wii games.
im wondering if there is any more problems hopefully not but overall im tryuing to find a way to fix this...!!!!!!!! thank you in advance
You probably did it wrong. Did you make a backup of your nand? Start over and do it over again.

i dont even know how to backup my nand and how would i find an uncorrupted bootmii i just got into the whole wii modding scene about two days ago..... i need more info but thanks for the help
If you just started hacking your wii 2 days ago, then why not take a few days of just reading to learn what your are doing and why you're doing it. Don't just go doing stuff and not knowing why, and please, if you have an app called Any Title Deleter, don't use it just yet.
thanks but i just need help asap ill read up on things but for right now i need help and no i dont have any title deleter...... thank you but i need a solution
OK here is what you should do.

Follow that guide. But we shall do some mods to it.
Download the RAR file. Get your sd card and plug it into your computer. Now take that rar folder and put it on your sd card. Then click "extract here" and remove the rar file after it's done extracting.
***IF THAT DOESN't WORK... Do this.
go to bannerbomb
go to BootMii.org
download the installer.
1. Get the SD card. If it has a private directory, rename it temporarily, e.g. to "privateold". Having other saved channels on the same card will screw it up. (trust me!)
2. Download aad1f_v108.zip (like i told you) and unzip it onto the SD card.
3. Go download the HackMii installer. Copy installer.elf (found if you zip the folder somewhere) to the root of the SD card, and rename it to boot.elf. (click rename and put the name boot.elf or boot.dol. Try boot.dol, it works the best)
4. Press (Wii), Data Management, Channels, SD. Then insert the card. It should either pop up Load boot.dol/elf? or freeze.
* If you encounter any problems from then on, don't try other versions (it won't help), but see the information below the survey.
6. If it freezes before popping up the dialog, follow these diagnostics:
* Did you use the SD menu (4.x *X stands for your region e.g U= usa*) or click Savedata instead of Channels? If so, then use channels.
* Otherwise, try a different version. The system menu is somewhat unpredictable; while most people should be able to use aad1f, some might need another version. Try other versions of the site.
put the SD card in wii, go to Wii options, then go to Data Management > Channels > SD Card, then you will get a message saying "Load boot.elf?" , select 'Yes' and the Hackmii installer will run.
Now it will say something like "If you payed for this, you where scammed!" ignore it and press 1 or whatever it tells you to do.
Install the homebrew channel by clicking install the homebrew channel. Install DVDx if you want to play dvds on your wii. We will mess with that later it's optional if you want it.
Go to the option "bootmii..."
Try every option. Press install bootmii as an Ios and install bootmii as boot2.
Now it should install...
Restart and bootmii should appear when you restart your wii (turn it off and on)
This is where it gets confusing.
There will be icons. Get a gamecube controller and go to what looks like a picture of an sd card. Press A. Now go to something that looks like a board and a arrow pointing to an sd card. Press A.
Now it will ask stuff like backup nand? press whatever is "YES"
It will take about 10 mins. Make some popcorn =D
After it is backed up, you will need some apps.
I personally use this site for most of my st0ff
Since you are new, I shall give you some helpful links and stuff you may need.
AnyRegion Changer - WiiBrew
Go to your sd card
Create a folder called
take your any region changer rar file and put it in that folder called apps. now unzip it. Then delete the rar.
Now it gets even more tricky... just bear with me.
And mind you, I would print out this guide...
FOLLOW THIS GUIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! E.X.A.C.T.L.Y like it tells you (install ALL patches aswell)
I will even copy some text for you.
1: (download the stuff from the guide) then Copy files to SD card, all IOS go on the root(They should be called stuff like Ios 15 or 36), the 3 apps in the 'apps' folder. It should look like this when done. (link in the original fourm)
2: Go to Homebrew channel and run Trucha Bug Restorer, load IOS36, press 1, read the warnings then select 'downgrade IOS15', select to load IOS from SD card then let it do its job.
3: Run Trucha Bug Restorer again, this time using d-pad left/right to change the IOS, load IOS15 on first screen, select the IOS36 menu & install patched (select 'yes' on all 3 patches) IOS36 to slot 36, again using IOS from SD card.
4: Run Trucha Bug Restorer again, load IOS36 and this time select restore IOS15.
5: Run cIOS38r14 installer select IOS36 as the one it should use and then select wad install.
Done! If you want a backup launcher and preloader then have a look at this thread. (link in original thread)
If you got errors in the Ioses, I strongly suggest downloading them from the internet. That is what I did.
Now! in the package There should be something called wad manager 1.4. Otherwise search the homebrew wiki site I gave you for the wad manager.
*below is optional*_______(you do not need to really do it, but They say that you need sys menu 3.2)
Now run wad manager.
Once it runs, look at your region settings. They should all be set correctly. For example, if you have a USA wii, you will have region settings U.
Go to install system menu 3.2. Now put the region setting to whatever your wii is. Mine is U.
It will take awhile to install.
Now you have options to install starfall, and many homebrew apps should work. BUT READ THE READMII THAT COMES WITH THE ANYREGIONCHANGER! And backup your NAND BEFORE YOU DO ANY OF THIS! This is a very dangerous application.
After you have done allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll that stuff up there (or excluding anyregionchanger, you may search for apps on the homebrew wiki. I suggest you get the homebrew browser you may download them from your wii.
Finally, you should be able to do alot of stuff.
(fingers are tired)
. I hope I helped.
PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU FIND ANY ERRORS! PM ME OR POST BACK!
I feel like I should help, because I get annoyed if somebody cannot hack like we can!
