Okay my Wii isn't exactly "bricked"...

But it was the best place to post this. Okay so my Wii is cIOS38 r14.... I had just installed this IOS to play Wii back ups off my USB drive. It works, but now whenever I go into Wii System Settings, my Wii will lock up and freeze. Sometimes the screen will just stay black.

This isn't a huge issue except that the internet settings are in there... So I have no internet till this is resolved.

Anyone know how to solve this OR is there another way to access internet settings?

If this IOS you installed has anything to do with cIOSCorp I am going to hunt you down and hang you by your pubes...

I have never updated my Wii since I modded it. It has been on 4.0. But if I did a 4.1 official update, would I keep all my homebrew and would this be resolved?

And uhhh... No I don't believe it's from cIOScorp... why?

I'm not sure, how do I check?

And I can't do his update because I can't connect my Wii to the internet for the reasons I stated in the first post.

Are you able to go into System Settings with your SD card taken out?

No. Should I just try an official 4.1 update? It won;t remove any important homebrew, will it?
