    Split metroid into 3 games?

Just wondering if this is even the section to be posting but it's obvious in wiiscrubber that metroid is in 3 pieces. I would love to split it up and leave the needed dol's along with each part of the game.

    Makes sense right?

Any such software to accomplish this?

I dont think you will be able to split the games but you could try using WiiScrubber to scrub the ISO and see if it will be able to fit in a single layer dvd.

na it only shrinks 200mb and it doesn't have an obvious update on it in wiiscrubber.

would be cool if wiiscrubber had a way of turning whatever you want inside of it into an iso....

I'm downloading the ISO as we speak but i'll see if i can actually scrub it and remove the update partition to see if that would work but splitting it will be extremely difficult since you would need the content in the disc and not just the .dols

I don't see an update in the disc. You'll see a very obvious 3 parts labeled mp1,mp2, and mp3. It says 7628 after the scrub.

So guess the update has been removed and i'll take a look at those parts when i get the iso cause even if you were to split them i think the wii iso must be 4.37 GB for the wii to recognise it.

Guess its not possible to split it into three games cause i can't extract the partition as a whole, well i didn't expect it to work but i thought it would be worth the try.

I know for a fact Nintendo Packaged Metroid Prime 1 and 3 as seperate games on the Wii, because I saw them both at a local shop where I live but not sure about two. Probably easiest if 1 and 2 were on one disc and if 3 was on the other.
