verbatim dvd+r's not working now
hi all, i know before anyone says it dvd+ = bad and dvd- = good lol. a question tho if you will. had a wii, v3.2, cioscorp 3.3, preloader usual hacks neogamma etc. and this worked and played any media i threw at it (all except tdk for some reason) lol. well anyway.
my wii screwed up, i now have a new one, version 4.1e, all truncha bug restored, preloader usual hacks (no background menu noise, no disk update check etc) and again cioscorp 3.3.
now imagine my suprise when none of my verbatim dvd+ plays or gets recognised at all in the disk channel. (neogamma is fin to play the dvd+r's)
dvd-r's play and get recognised fine in the disk channel.
its just really random why my dvd+s's still work but only using neogamma and yet any dvd-r will show up in the disk channel. is ther any explanation to this if anyone knows of as its proper random lol. peace
It 's been covered a thousand times...
mate, whereas i appreciate you replying to me, your link to somehing you would tell a 5 year old child is not. I am not a noob and know exactly how to burn off and know a considerable amount about the wii and modding etc.
so with that in mind if you really dont know that answer then i would appreciate you not making me out to be a fool when i am not.
so i plz by all means if you want to re-read my plight and know anything as to why my dvd+rs will not be recognised in the disk channel now when on my old wii thy worked perfectly fine, (and also not forgetting that my dvd+rs still DO work but now only thru neogamma) then plz do help.
as its just annoying as i am used to it all working thru the disk channel but still. hey ho..

Maybe you have a problems with cIOSCorp just try re-running the cIOSCorp Installer.

It is rather easy to explain though: Your new wii has a different drive than the last one. What happened exactly to your last wii? maybe it did n't read any disc at all? lol
