Us Have softmodded wii with ios 249 questions for upgrade

i have backup gamma launcher .3 , and ios 249 on my wii. it work wonderfully but i need to install usb loader on it.

i got this wii from someone already modded. when you open the homebrew channel, it shows you these things:

    --Backup Launcher gamma002fix r2
    --cios36rev7 installer
    --dvd dumper
    --dvd x installer
    --wad manager 1.3 boot.dol
    --mplayer

i can also find these apps on the sd card

i also have wads for ios35 and ios36
now heres another issue, i transfered world of goo channel onto the sd card
by accident, trying to save room on the wii itself

i used to be able to go into wii settings, sd card, channels, and there would be a boot channel there, but now it freezes the wii when i try

these files are in the root of my sd card:
    boot.dol
    downgrade ios35
    wadmanager1.4.dol

How do I do the following things to this wii without risking messing it up. (it works great now):

    -Add USB loader
-Regain access to my sd card files while on the wii
-Upgrade to latest and best ios
--Upgrade to latest and best wad manager

    Help!!

Search the guides, get an idea of how this works, then come back with more specific questions... We can tell you how to do all this but the guides are more comprehensive...

Try removing boot.dol from your SD card before going into settings again. It's probably a hack of some kind that's missing a supporting file.

    Latest cIOS cIOS38_rev14-Installer.rar

Search google for USB Loader GX

    Search for Wad manager 1.5

Wii homebrew applications i.e. boot.dol go on the SD card in the apps folder, contained in each of their own named folders. Typically a downloaded application will retain the structure you need and you just drop the files in your apps folder.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

So removing this boot.dol from the root of my SD card wont harm anything?

What happened was I tried to copy World of Goo Channel from Wii to SD card, as a nooB, to try and run world of goo off of sd card. Since then it wont let me access bannerbomb on sd card. Help me

    Found wad manager 1.5
    Found USB loader GX

    Thanks

If you have the Home Brew Channel on your system, you do not need Bannerbomb anymore.
PLEASE SEARCH, READ, AND THINK BEFORE DOING ANYTHING.

    Don't forget the thanks button...

basically BannerBomb is just to be able to install the HBC right? I kinda had this question myself as far as what should stay, and what shouldn't.
