Thread: Need help with BootMii

    Question Need help with BootMii

I tried both IOS and boot2, but when I get the BootMii screen, I can't navigate with the wii remote. So, I look harder and I find out that I need to use the reset button to navigate through the menu, and the power button to select. When I press the reset button, the wii restarts.

    Any help would be appreciated.

btw, I am trying to make a NAND backup with Boot Mii

I am running 3.3U with HBC installed

Not sure about boot2 but as an IOS BootMii needs a gamecube controller to navigate through the menu.

Daaamn - I don't have one :-P I've read that, just hoping there was another way to get around this. I've attempted to install BootMii Config from HB Browser - I'm able to delay the load by x seconds but by pressing the power button during that countdown - no luck.

    Thank you for the reply.

    a) Put the SD card into the Wii, if you installed Bootmii as boot2 then it will load, if it is installed as an IOS go to the Homebrew Channel, press 'home' on your wiimote and select 'Launch Bootmii'.

Why would he do this, if he has preloader installed he can easily restore a NAND using Bootmii as IOS.
