backing up a backup is totally straight forward

for best results....image the burnt backup to HD, then copy back up to a new dvd.

incidentially...say you have a backup that is marginal burn or not readable (NOT MEANING IF IT"S SCRATCHED TO H###).....the above method works quite well. to save yourself another Download..however..burn at a very slow 2 X

for best results - you probably want to go the whole way, use a good ripping drive (i.e. LG 8164) and rawdump, then imgburn, and it is probably safest to go with burning at 1x

You need one of 4 LG DVD-Roms.

    LG GDR-8161b
    LG GDR-8162b
    LG GDR-8163b
    LG GDR-8164b

    To Read:
    RawDump 2.1

    To Write:
ImgBurn, a freeware program very similar to CloneCD.

Start RawDump 2.1. Insert the original into the LG DVD-Rom. Close the drive. Click "Start Dump".

    With XP:
    start program
    open disc tray
    insert disc
    close tray
    click "start dump"

    With Vista:
    open disc tray
    start program
    insert disc
    close tray
    click "start dump"

The trick to Vista is to open the disc drive first before starting the program. I don't know why, but on some systems, the program will crash otherwise.

In 2 to 3 hours, you'll have a game image, or .ISO. When the dump is complete, right click on the file and go to properties. Make sure the image is exactly 4,699,979,776 kbs. If it's not, it's a bad read, re-dump it.

Also, Super Smash Bros is a dual layer disc, so it will be larger than the kb stated above.

    Write the .ISO in ImgBurn.

There's also a WiFi disc dumper, but I've never used it.

Well you can dump a game via Wifi, but on the PC, only those 4 drives can read Wii games and dump them
    D2C + D2Sun V3.05
    NDS lite + R4
