Yeah you can, I've already tried Mario Strikers Charged and worked perfectly..

even the EA's online system works fine (FIFA 08).. so.. no problems there =)

you should use it with caution though.... there might be a serial number burned on the game disc, and nintendo/ea might track the multiple connections made to the server by the same serial....

    You sure?

I mean I guess thats a lot of effort to do for them ..

How did microsoft ban people from xbox live?
    The somehow detected the chip?
Or what is that new stealth thing?

well i really dont know , but i assume the way to do it is serialize every dvd , and monitoring which numbers are accessed by too many different people...

    Nice idea but erm no

Would cost way too much for them to do.

No, they can detect the modded drives, the one that weren't chipped, but firmware-updated.. since it's like a different code, it can be detected. Xbox chips are currently undeceted by Xbox Live as far as I know.

Now, about the "serialized" discs, even if they did that, only EA would find them, and nothing would happen except for the "Key already in use" message that you normally get in PC EA Games, though, is VERY unlikely that this system comes to Wii because you don't install games, so no registry for you to put the serial, and besides, the serial doesn't come in the cd, comes in the box.. ALL the CDs are EXACT copies of each other.

On the Nintendo side, the same, it would be extremely hard for them to put a different cdkey in each disc, because they would have to like change the source code fore every copy of the game, instead, since they use the friend-code system, this fc is generated depending on your wii's serial number and depending on the game, it uses some algorythm to make an unique fc, just like DS games.. that's why not even in downloaded DS games you get detected...

Hope I was of help =)
