Gator Backup Loader Locks Up
Every time that I try to start up the backup loader (I am using Gator Backup Launcher 0.3) it locks up. I have tried installing twice, once on the Homebrew Channel and another time as a Wii Channel, following two different guides. Both times it did the same thing. Also, I have Wii Menu Version 3.3.
This is what it looks like when it freezes (except the gator at the bottom left look a little different):
If anyone knows how to fix the problem, then I would be very happy. Thanks.
Donno what your problem is. But I know that's a really outdated and old launcher.
Just use Neogamma
Oh, I didnt realize I was using an outdated launcher. Tried it and it works great! Thanks. I feel like such a noob lol.
Yes, backup launcher gamma 03 works great, but, some of the newer games may not work with it. So there is a newer backup launcher, Neogamma. That's why some consider the 03 gamma launcher out dated.
Please please help
am new to the wii i have install the homebrew channel and i think that works fine, but am try to play back up games and i know you have to install a backup loader i have no idea how to do this i have looked all over the web and half the stuff i dont understand am not that good at computers. can someone please help me to install a backup loader am very thick with thing like this so please can you make it easy for me to understand. thank you
If you already have the Homebrew Channel Installed, then all you have to do is download Neogamma and put it in the "apps" folder on your SD card. If there is not an "apps" folder, then just make one in the main directory. You should be able to run it then from the Homebrew Channel. Once you have it downloaded just find a game and burn it as an image with Starburn (or another burner) on a DVD-R.
