ok just a fast answer i need , well i have too small disks to put the 4.7 gb game on so im gonna use my extern hardisk but i have MUCH computer backup on it(pictures, school stuff ...)
and i want that to be in there and not delete that so if i put in my usb ,,, and i open usbloader do it delete every thing? and format it ?
since i tried with my SD card and then i needed to format that and it did and it deleted everything on it when i was going to need it on my PC again ?

and so when i put it on my pc it wil format back so everything wil be deleted?????
Thanks In advanced
Edit: + when i had a smaller file on my disc ( smaller game ) it game me an error DVD read error 324 and i tried to search it up a hole day and couldn't find any answer, so : P
The wii reads a format of WBFS when loading games. Windows does not recognize this because your computer uses FAT or NTFS.
The Wii uses FAT to load data off a hard drive.
So in short yes you will lose everything on your HDD if you want to save games on it.
Now, long solution. You can make two/three partitions of your USB HDD. Up to 30 gig of FAT for the wii to read data, XX gigs of WBFS for games and the remainder NTFS for you to use with your computer.
Did I answer the right question?
create two partitions. When you create your initial partition for WBFS, just set it to half the size of the drive. Then you'll have the other 1/2 as unused space. Partition & format it as FAT.
but do i have to remove everything on my harddisk to do that?:S
Think vista lets you resize partitions. Otherwise you'll have to grab some 3rd party software. A simple google search should yield quite a few options.
Well i got vista home premium and i don't know how and really what partition is ? (not that good in english, from norway)
but i wanna know how to partition my harddisk since i got 90 GB free of 250GB HDD
so i want 30GB to be WBFS so how do i do that without deleting anything ? can you find or say how to do it (tutorial)
btw : i didn't really understand what you said on you last post Ossot x)
control panel->administrative tools-> Computer Management -> Disk Management ->
right click it, shrink volume. Should have free space. Right click. create volume..
you're gonna have to use google bro if you dont understand. Just google how to resize partition. vista.
