Question Vista 64 + Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector = No Friends even with Friends-Code... ?

for some reason I thought I need Vista 64, don't ask me why, it's just 64 sounds so much better than 32 ... Now I am stuck unable to install my Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector .. There is already a beta driver for vista, but not for the 64bit edition.

My computer also came with a wlan card with a chip from Atheros Communications, Atheros, Wireless, WLAN, Wireless LAN, 2.4-GHz, 5-GHz, 2.4/5-GHz, 802.11a/b/g, 802.11g, 802.11n, 802.11, Radio-on-Chip, Networking, Mobile, Semiconductor, system solutions .. but wii does not support ad-hoc and i cant find a driver to make my card a softAP. Again no luck for me.

So tell me, what do I miss? Is it easy to collect Friends-Code or is it as difficult as getting real friends? Do you get a lot of messages from wii-girls? Is the internet channel worth it's money even if others got it for free?

Oh and my real question, what can i do to get my wii online, without spending extra money or losing my current downloads ....
