game update with wii key 2

Hi guys I have a Wii key 2 installed in my system I have just made a copy of Tiger Woods 2010 from a buddy I put the disc in and I have Wii System Update instead of the Tiger symbol. Just wondering if I do take the update will it hurt my system in any way. i am at 4.0 right now.

General rule of thumb is if you aren't into Homebrew and the game disc you are using is same region as your Wii then it's safe to update. I'd probably look around the forum first though as there are loads of posts concerning Tiger Woods 2010, just to be sure.

High, I also have Wikey2 ntsc-U wii with 3.2 firmware on the wii. I downloaded Tigerwoods and burnt it, no problems whatsoever. Just wanted to say you shouldn't have any kind of update, that I know of. Ghostbusters on the other hand is a different story..

sorry didn't see you said you had 4.0 firmware. Since that is the latest firmware, letting the wii update itself shouldn't be a problem, that I know of.

Can you advise about Ghostbusters? Did you do the update or find a fix to avoid it? I have this game and would like to know what you did to get it to work? Please/Thanks
