    A wad will install into your homebrew channel or on the Wii's main system channel. Depending on what type of app it is.

    For example;
    Usb_loader wad will install under the homebrew channel.(on your sd card)
    Wii ware and VC apps will install on the main screen.(uses up system blocks)

    The wads that are installed as channels on the Wii's main system can be moved to the SDcard Channel to free up Memory blocks. But you will need
    Version 4.0 firmware on your Wii.

    It is unlikely that you will see a 'Wad browser' like the Homebrew browser because of the legal implications. You will notice that on the Homebrew browser you dont have links to anything that is 'illegal' or a bit dodgy for instance ROMS, backup loaders etc.
    There wouldnt be much in the way of Wads to browse as they would have to be reasonably above board or the makers of the program could leave themselves open to prosecution.

    Why would you need a wad browser anyway.
    You install the wad and after it's installed you delete the wad install file.
    The wad becomes a channel after you install it.

    I guess just for ease. Since the homebrew browser cuts out the need to transfer apps from PC to SD to Wii, what he want is to do the same for WADs. So it can all be handled from the comfort of his couch.
    Just sit back and feel your ass grow.
