    WADs and Drive Key

I have the drivekey installed but I don't have homebrew installed. (and would rather not install it) Is there a way to play wads. From what i've read, all the instructions are for those with homebrew installed.

Another question - I have NTSC and was considering how a PAL game would look on my system, would there be any difference?

And Finally, does drive key protect against bricking?

    TIA

installing hbc only takes a few block of wii memory. running short urs ?

unlike game ISOs, wad files be loaded with WAD Manager, which is homebrew.

btw, the fun of cheat codes is a bonus of hbc.

abt 90% (estimated) pal isos do well on ntsc wii, under the hbc umbrella.

the best brickblock is knowledge, use of softwares and human being......not Drivekey.

    No HB..Drivekey

Yes the Drivekey has a built-in anti-foreign game update blocker and works well to keep your wii from being bricked by a foreign unpatch backup or original game...absolutely no knowledge needed of softwares..just click..enabled and done

other members ..if responding..answer the questions with the correct answer..to the question asked..... thanks

My wii is at the latest update 4.0. I thought that i couldn't use homebrew on it, or does the drive key allow me to use it.

    Thanks for the help.

drivekey wont allow you to be able to install homebrew. I rather a chipped wii then softmoded myself once its in you dont have to worry about anything more. softmod be ok if you want to play dvds or stupid stuff like that but if you want to just play backups drivekey is the way to go havnt had a game it wont play!!!

Oh if you get a drivekey dont download scrubbed games as they do not work on the newer firmware so you will just have to buy some dvd9 disks and burn the full game. Which is prob better as you get all the cut scenes

Drivekey is able to play Scrubbed games so as normal DVD9 games and any game you say even out of region games while your Wii firmware is 4.1 or lesser.
Also it is possible to install homebrew when you have Drivekey but your firmware has to be 3.2 I think.
