japanese games on US wii
I have the wiikey 2 and I just downloaded naruto shippuden ex 3 and it played fine but when i took it out it would not play the american game. I had to turn it off and on so it could read my US games. is this normal ??? I put the wiikey update disc and i didnt see anyting to set the wii to region free how do i do this????
wiikey2 has "block-update" feature, that has prevented u from Naruto's heavy hit.
after jap games on us wii, reset is comprehensive.
Cool so you mean that i dont have to do anything just hit the reset button after playing a japanese game ???? sweet !!! Great game by the way !!!
so, u can play Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, either Jpn or usa iso..
Is this true for non-NTSC (PAL) games as well?
Modchips are meant to have the same function as a freeloader, so they accept ISO's from every region, so the answer is yes, but you need to disable the updates from games not of your region.
a wii console with modchip & homebrew channel installed, u should no longer need to "remove/patch" the update of the ISO of other regions ( or say, not of ur region ). Play the ISO with GeckoOS, it'll be fine.
avoid to apply wiibrickblocker, wiifrii, the kind of update-blocking-software. keeping the ISOs in original form will be a benefit for long term playable.
i softmodded my 4.1u wii and it can play burnt wii games. Will it be able to play burnt japanese games like bleach shatterd blade? if not how can i get it to play all regions without a mod chip?
Japan Discs on a softmodded USA Wii
Will be in Japan for a few days (business stuff). Two Questions:
1. If I buy Wii discs from Japan, will it play on my 4.0U soft-modded Wii (Cioscorp).
2. Also can I use USB Loader to back up the Japan Discs and play them through my 500GB external drive.
Thanks in advance guys.
Cant answer your questions...
