    3.4U - 3.2U Downgrade

Don't tell me to look for guides. I know for a fact that there are many guides on how to do this. But, all those guides include installing the BackUp Channel which I do not want. That's why i am asking (ever so kindly) that someone can show me the steps to downgrade my Wii from 3.4U to 3.2U without the BackUp Channel.

You can follow the tuts here on this wonderful site just dont install the backup channel wad youll be on 3.2u then but how do you plan on playing backups? from the homebrew channel? Do you want to run them from the disc channel? If so try softmii .

I had a problem downgrading from 3.4u today I couldnt find a solution seems my bud's wii serial # starts with lu64 i got a black screen when trying ios downgrader. I got homebrew installed but could not downgrade properly. Seems they havent found a workaround for this yet.

I plan on using USB Loader 1.1. I need to downgrade to use it because you can't install the IOS needed for USB loader to run.

My Wii serial starts with LU57. I am on 3.4U. Does that mean if I do a downgrade, it will work fine?

And what happens if I do a downgrade, and get stuck on a step?

if get stuck on a step, never leave by unplugging the power cord. this may cause semi-brick at worst.
proper way is to press and hold RESET button til wii back to normal channel.

    For this guide

3.1-3.4 Twilight/Downgrade/Starfall/GammaTutorial (yeah that's right, a wii noob is fluent in BB code)

When it references the "cIOS Downgrader" in step 2, is it referring this folder in the apps folder "4. Firmware Downgrader".

Please someone who replies, actually download the file and tell me, don't just assume. I don't want a bricked wii because you assumed.

Serial LU64 wii's are currently UNHACKABLE! (I'm going to PM the Mod who wrote the guide and ask him to include that in there). LU64 are the newest wii's on the market, and Nintendo has obviously found a way to stop homebrew. I'm pretty sure that you can install the homebrew channel, but not all of the steps required to downgrade are possible. I hope that even though you guys are stuck on a step, that your Wii still run's fine. I'm going to go PM him now.
