    Wad manager installation error

    Hi folks,

My first post here. I have a D2C chip in my wii V3.1U. I've installed the D2PRO V2.5 solderless clip version 1.7. All my original and backup games play fine. No problems so far.

Last week I installed homebrew beta 8 without any problem. Since than I've used the usb network adapter and homebrew asked if I wanted to upgrade to version 1. And I did. I've also upgraded my Wii to V3.2U

Now when I'm trying to install the wad manager using the guide provided here..
    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...t-proof-o.html

After I accept the disclaimer shown at the beginning of the wad manager installation and select my sd card slot, I get error ret= -1.

I'm using a 8bg SDHC card. Is that the problem or something else? Please help me trouble shoot. By the way I've updated the mii channel using the same card and apps folder. So I think the card is read properly.

    Thanks
    Darsh

u used the usb network adapter and updated homebrew channel to v1.0.1. how come 3.1 only been updated to 3.2u by wifi ?.... verify it if it's 3.2/3.3/3.4/4.0

if at 3.2u, SDHC is not supported. 4.0u does.
error ret=-1 is "missing files"...... so, think abt that!

put wad in a separted folder, named 'wad'; not "wad manager".
'wad manager' could be a folder in apps, of which holds the application software but not the xxxxxxxx.wad files. ......... get me ?

at 4.0u (updated via wifi) would not support WADMgr.

    Thanks Billyhome,

I updated the Wii firmware to 3.2U using a game iso not through wifi. I confirmed by going to the wii settings and verifed that i'm indeed at 3.2.

Opera browser wad is in wad folder and not in wadmanager folder (I mistakenly wrote wad manager in my earlier post) . Which is at the root of the sd card.

You are using an old version of wad manager with no SDHC support, try this one and I think you'll find everything works as it should Just out of interest, what game did you use to update to 3.2?

ok to ur verify and confirm....3.2U, the key to success!
Opera.wad, like other xxxxx.wad files, should be put into wad folder, for sure.
now, get ur 2GB sc card (NOT the 8GB one), reformat, copy those files in, and u're ready to fly.
    enjoy.

I patched the "Are you smarter than the 5th grader" iso with 3.2U update using update manager.

Thanks for the link to the new update manager. I'm going to try that manage on a 2 gb sd card.
