How to install wad after mod chip installed?

Noobs question: I want to install some wads after installing the wiikey 2. Could someone tell me what else I have to do? I know I should install HBC, but all the guide I found is for softmods and I don't want to install stuffs unnecessary to mess up the system.
    Like this one:
    link
    "install IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad
    install cios_fix.wad
    Load IOS Downgrader"
Not sure if all these are necessary.

Also, my system is 3.4U, would any scrubbed games be playable on it?
    Thanks.

Only way to load wads is with homebrew. Many prefer having homebrew combined with a mod chip to provide the most out of your system. You will need to get homebrew if you want to install wads.

Go to the Faq section and there a great guide that will allow you to install it and downgrade etc. It even includes all of the downloadable files needed for you SD card.

You will need zelda and the twighlight hack for your 3.4U version. Once you are back to 3.2 and have homebrew installed you can use wad manager.

    Thanks for the help.
I am still unsure about all the hacks. If I only want to install wad, do I have to downgrade? Does installing "IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad, cios_fix.wad, IOS Downgrader" necessary for HBC and wad manager on a 3.4U system, or only loading the zelda save once will do the trick? Thansk.

Yes you still have to downgrade. The only way to install wads is through HBC. The only way to have HBC with a working was manager is if you are on 3.2U.

I assume you are wanting to downgrade for VC games?

does this mean, zelda and the twighlight hack down grade 3.4 to 3.2?
i read some post there was a new twighlight hack works for 3.4?

No. Zelda and twighlight just put the homebrew channel on. To fully use the wad manager you have to be on 3.2. There is a new file yes so you will have to use since you are on 3.4.

It is done the same way but just needs a different save file to be copied over. You will know if you have the wrong one because it won't work. You won't wreck your system if you use the wrong hack file.

Thanks for clearing it up. Would you help me to confirm the procedure:
    load zelda save (for 3.4)
    install IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad
    install cios_fix.wad
    Load IOS Downgrader
Load cIOS Downgrader and choose 3.2U

Do I need to do this: Load "Install Shop IOS51"

    Thanks.

    tony I'm thinking two things.

1.) it's the SD card, if it's an SDHC card (bigger than 2 gigabytes) it won't work.

    or

2.) for some reason on every single wad manager guide I have read they forget to mention that you need to rename the *.dol / *.elf files from WADMANAGER92315.dol (or whatever, I'm just making something up) to boot.dol or boot.elf. Of course, that's pretty important. I wonder why they forget to mention that; it isn't like people read guides because they already know how to do things.
