play burned gamecube games on wii?

I just got myself a gamecube controller, and im gonna get a 16MB gamecube memory card too.

Is it possible to make the wii play gamecube games from a burned disk? And if so how?
And can i also burn several games on it so i can use all the 4.3GB on the disk?

    1) Yes it is possible but it depends on if your Wii is capable of reading burned discs or not. Obviously if your Wii's drive can't read burned discs, it wouldn't work. It is much more recommended to USB or SD load them though.

    2) Another yes. There is a tool that allows you to load multiple games into a single disc, though I cannot remember the tools name nor can I upload it for you. It was on my old PC's desktop which corrupted beyond recovery a couple weeks ago.

If I spelled something wrong, I'll just blame it on auto-correct
1: So what models of wii is capable of reading burned disks? (I already can and have played gamecube games on my wii with DML but the aspect ratio is all wrong)

    2; a took?

Edit: I burned out a game, and tried it to play through neogamma which was able to run the games fromthe sdcard, but it shows once again (had that issue before) apploader size is zero...

If your Wii has a D3-2, or newer, chipset in it, which started to appear during 2009(*), your Wii won't be able to read any burnt disc at all, whether it be a game, or even if it's a retail DVD in WiiMC. You can calculate the chances of having a D3-2 or newer here, you give it the serial of the console, and it gives you an estimation of what you might have.

As for the tool that was mentioned, he was referring to MultiGame ISO Creator. I never had much luck with it myself on my Wii that actually could read a burnt disc, don't know if it works with Dios Mios.

(*) = I'm not entirely sure if that's the year the D3-2 chipset started to appear, it's the earliest talk of it I could find.

As far as I know, you should be able to. Way before the year the chipsets started preventing non-Nintendo sactioned discs. Can't be sure until you give it a try though. Additional input from someone else would be nice too, I'm definitely no expert on the subject. I'm fairly certain you can though, it's from the year it launched.

Yeah, want to know how i get them to launch as a normal game from the wii menu tho :P Cause if i get it to work that way, i will then play all wii and gamecube games from disks x)

CAuse they lasts longer (can last over 10 years with proper care) than a hdd with unknown lifespan :P

Yes, that unit should play Gamecube games (that's provided you followed our "Softmod ANY Wii" guide and not some screwy one). As to your other question, look here.

I followed that link you gave, but the problem is the musd program, it says i need title id and version, but i don't know what i need there, and cmios said that there was no mios installed apparently..

So i downloaded mios v4, and got "you need to use an ios with trucha bug".. wtf!

Did you follow the "Softmod ANY Wii" guide or not? I see no "yep," "what?," or "nope" in that reply.
