BootMii as IOS NAND backup not possible

    Hello guys and girls,

I'm trying to soft mod a black Wii and I've encountered a problem: I can't make a NAND backup. BootMii as boot2 is impossible to install that's why I installed it as ios. I've prepared my SD card (SanDisk 2GB, was able to create NAND backups on older white Wii's using boot2) multiple times, formatted it and installed and un-installed BootMii as well. Can't seem to get it to work though. Here's a picture of the screen I keep getting.

    Thanks in advance!

Are you talking about the NAND backup using BootMii as ios? What would you recommend instead? I've read that BootMii as ios is still useful if you use priiloader as well.

Looks like it couldn't open the file to write on the SD card. Is it write-protected? Is it full or less than 512 meg free?

It isn't write-protected as far as I know. I can put files on it using both windows and mac. It's not full either, has 1,88 mb of free space.

If you don't have a launch-year Wii, installing BootMii as IOS is the only option that you have.

That's what I gathered, but what I should do now I'm unable to make the NAND back-up?

It installs just fine as IOS and prepares the SD card too, no problems there I think. Could run it again and post a picture of the screen while installing.
