Wii remote chargers, any good options out there?

Looking through reviews on Google, Amazon and here. I cannot seem to find any clear leader of the pack. At this time my family only has 2 original white Wii remotes that came with my gen1 Wii. Batteries are starting to really take a toll on us, and I'd like to purchase a wii remote charging solution. Does anyone have any suggestions on one that offers 4 charging positions (we plan on getting 2 more wii remotes shortly).

    much thanks

    JK

I had a set of Nyko Wii Remote chargers for my 4 remotes years ago. Initially they worked well, but they lost maximum power capacity far too quick for my likes.

After that, I've chosen to just stick with normal AAs.

That may or may not have to do with the quality of the cells used --- I believe Nyko's battery pack is integrated (at least mine are). I'm not sure if you could access the pack and replace the cells. A cursory glance at mine would appear two halves of the shell that encases the two batteries is glued or adhered shut --- it'd take some hacking to disassemble it (but skilled hands could should the need arise).

Go for NiMh rechargeables. They work great.

I had had bad experience with 3rd part charging stand solutions.

Energizer has a nice option or two.
