Many Games Not Loading
I have successfully soft modded my wii with the guide on here.
i thought all was well until I started to test some of my games. Many of them won't load at all. It just sits there on a black screen and I have to hold the power button in for 15 seconds to shut it off.
i prefer the usbloadergx and have about 20 games ripped so far. I was wondering if part of my issue is because my existing discs are so scratched, but the ripper does get to 100%.
Any ideas or should I post a syscheck and go from there?

Base IOS should be 56. Cornflakes needs to post in a different thread, since every problem is probably different regardless of if the symptoms are the same. Im deleting cornflakes2's post. Please make your own thread if you have issues instead of hijacking another's.
Now, thakkrad, yes please post a syscheck. Also, what is the make/model of your HDD. The more details regarding your issue/hardware the better.
I'll have to post a syscheck tomorrow but my had is a seagate freeagent goflex 9zf2a2-500 500G drive that is on the compatibility list.
I tried wiiflow as we'll to no avail.
So when you say "many" of your games not loading, does that imply that "some" of them did in fact work? Or have none of them worked at all?
Some of them work, and some of them don't. For example.

Lego Star Wars. Black Screen.
Lego Pirates of the Caribbean. Black Screen as well.
That was all I could get the boys to try last night as we were busy after supper.
I can try some more tonight maybe.
Hmm... then that's at least some good news. Same with me, I can get Endless Ocean to work just fine but I couldn't get Brain Academy or Science Papa to work (just blackscreens). So that sort of tells me that there is no problem with the softmod itself (everything installed fine), but I don't know what IOS versions are for? I noticed there are lots of IOS versions and all the games have varios IOS numbers ...not sure if that has anything to do with it?
When it's a blackscreen, does yours still play sound in the background or is it like mine where there's no sound, no remote control functionality, and there's nothing else you can do except HOLD DOWN POWER button to shut it off?
Also, right before the game loads....what message do you see? You'll see something like: "IOS249 loading.........." "IOS RELOAD: BLOCKED"......... and then it loads either blackscreen or the working game.

Search for a homebrew app called Cleanrip and try using that to rip your non working games. The ones you mention should not be problematic IOS wise....
BTW your syscheck is fine.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll try re-ripping them with cleanrip. I know many of them are scratched to hell and I tried to clean them really well to get them to rip. I just picked up Super Mario Bros Wii for the kids tonight, brand new out of the box, it ripped in like 5 minutes and it works fine. So maybe I jsut need to try all the games and see which ones don't work and try the other rip program.
