Thread: scrubbed vs non scrubbed

    scrubbed vs non scrubbed

Is there any performance or content difference between a scrubbed game and a non scrubbed game. I have read that it removes useless garbage from the disc but this sounds like rebuilding an engine and having parts left over and then saying oh well I didn't need those parts. Do the game makers really put large amounts of nothing in games? WTH?

    Thanks

    Jerry

apparently youre either really dense or just oblivious, but this is quite a uneeded topic

EVERY SINGLE LAST WII GAME BUT 2 ARE EXACTLY 4,699,979,776

    now youre telling me...
Animal crossing is 4.3 gigs? and Super Mario Galaxy is also 4.3 gigs? i mean seriously =P

its a standerdized size, all games are that size, if its lower than they add useless data to fill it up

    Actually, he answered your question.

Scrubbing games doesn't matter much, but 1:1 games are usually better.

The question was performance or content difference, nothing more.

    Thanks for clarifying Zero

Admiral Littlecox, not everyone's life revolves around the wii and although the size of every game is common knowledge to you, it is not common knowledge to most everyone else on this planet. Maybe if you spend less time on the wii and more time with a chick you might relax a little.

well said chillywilly. I'm new to this site, but I've noticed a lot of responses asuming that the question asker should be as experienced as the responder. not everyone has the same level of experience, and humliating people for asking what you think are "stupid" questions is extremely disrespectful.

You guys tend to forget one thing here, This stuff is basic at best, and has been covered a hundred million times..... If the amount of time spent by people posting was used to search, 9/10 the stuff being asked wouldn't be asked, because they'd find the info is already here......

    Just some food for thought.
