Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune is working on a new project and he wants us to help
Well the game is not confirmed for anything but the PC at the moment it does state on the Kickstarter page that:
Being a huge fan of not only Keiji Inafune but 8 and 16bit action games, I plan to donate a bit to this and I hope fellow gamers out there will as well. Let's help them make the goal so we can get a Wii U release!Other platforms, including home consoles...are a high priority, but only if we can afford them via stretch goals.
Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter
I've been hearing about this on twitter. Sounds like if 2.5M is raised, they will port the game to consoles's eShop, PSN, XBL.
I'll be looking into this kickstarter. Thanks for posting the link. I don't have to search for it now.
I just looked at the video, and there is so many MegaMan references, I hope Capcom doesn't attempt a Cease and Desist order on the project.
I do plan on backing this. I just don't know how much that I'm willing to throw at it yet. I want to do the $60 one, but not sure I can swing that kind of money at this time with Wind Waker HD coming out on the 20th and Pokemon coming out on the 12th (buying 4 copies).
It gained $200,000 over night , it'll have no trouble breaking $900,000. But what I really want is it to break the $2,500,000 stretch goal so I can get if on Wii U.
Edit: it's now over $750,00+! There is now doubt that this game will hit the minimum $900,000, the question I'm asking is can it make the $2.5 million mark and get console releases? I really hope so, so far it's only been a day or two and it's almost at the minimum goal, with another 29 days to go I think it should make the $2.5 mil mark

Wow, I'm keeping watch on this Kickstarter and the support is amazing! In about 3 days it has already hit not only the $900,000 stater goal, but $1,200,000 stretch goal too! At this rate we'll definitely get a Wii U version.
