Cannot access bootmii upon boot
Problem: I'm unable to access bootmii upon boot, instead multi-mod manager appears upon boot.
Guide I used: I used a youtube guide(probably killing my chances of getting any help here, but it's worth a shot) that utilized the wiibrand launcher to get the homebrew channel(microwavesam's youtube guide if needed). After getting the homebrew channel, I installed multi-mod manager and priiloader along with some wads, emulators and loaders. I installed bootmii under boot2 instead of ios as the guide suggested.
System Version: Before I did the hack it was 4.3u, when I look at system version in multi-mod manager it says 4.1u now. It is an older model wii, RVL-001. I know I'm supposed to include Cios version, but I don't know what it is or how to find it.
Commentary/Requests: I would like to access bootmii so that I can make a nand backup of the wii(a little late, my mistake). Then again I'd love to undo everything and start from scratch so I can go about doing the hack the way this website does it. Thanks in advance.

Follow our Softmod ANY Wii guide from start to finish. That will correct your current issues as well as fix anything screwed up by that failtube mod.
Under Chapter 1, Part 1 should I follow the "Softmods with Homebrew Channel installed" section or the "Other Desperate Options" section?
Edit #1: Tried the "Softmods with Homebrew Channel Installed" approach, the HBC screen was just bubbles and the wiimod never showed up as an option to load. I formatted the sd and extracted the WiiMod-58-61_Hackmii_1.1.0 folder into my sd card as described, so I guess I'll try the other option.

Sorry I didn't mean to bump my thread, but it seems my 2nd post was deleted after I tried to edit it. Under Chapter 1, Section 1 I tried the "Softmods with Homebrew Channel Installed" approach and it didn't work. Wiimod never appeared as an option under HBC. Should I try the "Other Desperate Options" approach?
Edit: Tried the "Other Desperate Options" approach and when installing wads ios58 was successful but ios61 failed with the error Title (-1035). Should I still proceed with launching the hackmii installed from the apps menu?
Edit#2: Thanks for your help. I made my backup and completed the guide.

The 1035 error is not a problem in this one instance, you may continue with the guide. As far as the first problem you had, I suspect you didnt extract the files correctly. The resulting paths should have been sd/apps/wiimod and sd/wad.
