    I think i made a mistake

Hi guys. So after a couple of years i plugged in my modded Wii with Wiikey again. But I made a mistake when I connected to the internet it ask me to update so I did. Half way through I remembered that I shouldn't be updating from Nintendo, but didn't want to risk stopping the update in case I bricks my Wii. So after the update I tried to play some games. Some work for example Punch Out and Call of Duty World at War, but when try to play the rest of them, I just get the error that either the disk is not recognized or Wii just stops working and I have to unplug it and restart it. Is there any way to fix my mistake. Thanks in advance.

You can re-soft mod your system using "Softmod Any Wii" (linked in my signature) to restore the functionality that was lost by doing the update. Be sure to install priiloader and configure it as recommended, then it won't ask for updates from nintendo by network or by disk again (presuming that we'll ever get another one).

If its a hardmod with wiikey i'm pretty sure you can update the wiikey chip. I did it for a friend when nsmb came out im sure. Im sure it helps with compatabilty with backups too, I think he had problems with super mario galaxy 2 before flashing the wiikey.

Not sure about out of region games though.

I did the softmod like the "Softmod Any Wii" exactly like the guide said. Everything works great, except two games Go Vacation and New Super Mario Bros. Wii. I don't know what I did wrong, I burned those two games exactly like I do with all my games and the rest works :/

I know at least one of those can be found here. A few titles take a little extra work to get going.
