Hahahaha! Read an article about this a little bit ago. I didnt figure spybox would last long if they kept those policies in place.

I may just change my opinion on if I want it or not now lol

Then again there's still the "not backwards compatible" problem...I don't really want to have 3 game systems hooked up (not enough HDMI ports or cables...not enough outlets either).

They're not really dropping the price...are they?

If you watched the IGN news video, they said by MS doing away with their draconian DRM schemes, the main distinguishing thing between both Sony and MS next gen consoles is that Sony is $100 cheaper. I think the cartoon is simply saying they're coming closer to together.

I keep hearing the PS4 is the more powerful machine of the two, and it's still cheaper.

Microsoft needs to drop the mandatory kinect which would probably allow them to match Sony's price with a new bundle. If Sony can't add features to their online service to match Xbox live Microsoft could still ahve some advantage.
