Priloader: Updating from 7.0 to 8.0 Beta?

Hi, I followed Soft modded any Wii guide and choose to install priloader 7.0 during the install, however I now want to update to 8.0 Beta due to my wife has ordered a Motion Plus controller for a particular game that requires the Motion Plus.

    1. Can I just install the 8.0 beta over the already installed 7.0 ?
    2. If after updating to 8.0 beta will the non motion plus controllers still work ?

    Thank you for any advice.

If you remember to use the old remotes any time you are digging around in Priiloader, you don't have to update it at all.

If you do update, your old remotes will still work with it.

I've never updated it, so I can't speak on if you can just install it on top or if its best to reinstall a menu and then install priiloader from there.

I recommend leaving it alone, but if you ever need to update, the best way is to enable beta updates through Priiloader's settings and then use the online update feature.
    SM 4.1 (v499) - BootMii/IOS v1.5 - HBC 1.1.2 - Priiloader 0.8b6 - d2x v9(r49) - WiiFlow 4.1.1
