Restore 4.1u softmodded Wii to factory condition

Hello, I want to restore my 4.1u Wii to factory condition.

I found this guide for 4.2:
    http://www.wiihacks.com/tutorial-arc...odded-wii.html

But the link inside for the 4.1 guide is dead.

Any idea of a guide for 4.1u back to factory condition?

    Thanks!

Before you even entertain that, a question: why? Some folks do this for the wrong reasons (why I'm asking). But to answer you:

^I wouldn't go doing that just yet; depends on your reasoning/response to the question.

Thanks for the reply. I am thinking of trading it into Gamestop, and want to virginize it before I do so.

I seriously doubt they'd do a check like that. You could always accept an official update to V4.3 and remove hbc.

If I were to update from 4.1u to 4.3u, couldn't the update brick my Wii?

I guess even thinking about right now, I don't think I would want to trade it in anyways. The trade in value is only like $30, and that's cheap

Considering all you can do with it besides just gaming (dvd player, streaming media player, etc) yeah I would keep it too.

Thanks for the all replies! Curious though, running 4.1u is still sufficient today, or should I look into 4.3? I wouldn't mind doing a cleansweep

4.2 and 4.3 added nothing but anti-homebrew stuff. 4.1 is the best version to be on.

Great, thanks! And last question. Is there an easy to know if I am up to date with my softmod? Or, is it basically trial and error in case something doesn't work?
