    Recommend 1tb Portable Hard Drive

    Hi...
I have a 4.1e softmodded wii and am looking to get a 1tb portable hard drive.
Can anyone recommend one that is not too expensive and one that works?
    Thankyou

I don't know what is "too expensive" for you, but I bought this model for myself (1.5TB) and it works great for Wii and GameCube games.

Amazon.com: Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk 1.5 TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive STAC1500100: Electronics

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...lity-list.html

Note: EESN = European, NESN = USA. Any model numbers alike other this difference means they are the same. Western Digitals, I mean...

No way to know for sure, then. The purpose of the previously linked guide is to list confirmed (or in some cases, not working) drives. It used to be USB2.0/3.0 drives often would not work, but that was before the advent of d2x cIOS which has better compatibility with a wider variety of USB drives (including 3.0 models).
