I've been in search of a way to backup my computer entirely. But I want to be able to backup my installed games as well. I don't want to install all my PC games, including Steam games. I heard that a regular backup HDD does not backup installed software, but only saved data.
Recently, I came across something called "Disk image". It's a software that backs up your entire computer, into an image I think.
I'm wondering if this would be my solution to backing up my games. This image can then be stored on an external HDD for later use.
Has anyone heard of Disk image? Will this really help my problem of fully backng up EVERYTHING, including installed software?
Ipsa scientia potestas est.

Um, why would you need internet to make a disc image or backup? Your posts tonight are fairly erratic, lol
Sorry Lmao. I don't know how these disk image backups work. I guess it's a software, that just creates the image, that you can place in a HDD for later use.
That's a relief though. I only assumed it required internet usage, cuz it mentioned cloud storage and syncing on the site. I thought I was gonna have to upload or something.
So you're speaking of an external feature of the backup program? At least that makes sense (though where you posted your other question earlier doesn't, lol).
