Stuck on making external hard drive work.

I want to start off by saying all I want to do is be able to hook my external hard drive up to my wii and play the games and watch the movies I have on there. And it's giving me such a headache right now and i'm overwhelmed and frustrated.

I used this guide to softmod my wii:

I did everything as I was supposed to and it worked, I think. I have the channels that the guide said I would have so I think it's done correctly. I also did the NTFS Hard drive guide and I don't know what went wrong but I went to CFG Loader and it found my hard drive but says there's nothing there.

I have a 2TB hard drive that was Fat32 formatted but I couldn't transfer the .ISO files over to it because it was over 4GB so I took everything off of it and reformatted into NTFS and put everything back on it to now have all these issues and I don't know what to do. I'm lost. I am perfectly willing to reformat my drive to Fat32 if I have to (If it will save my hair from being ripped out) but I don't know how to get around putting an ISO on it that is larger than 4GB and I am a little concerned now that I did the guide for NTFS is I could backtrack and do Fat32. I need help. I am a complete noob when it comes to this.

I just want to be able to play games and movies, that really is it.

Did you see the FAT32 and NTFS guides we have available? (Links in my sig)

FAT32 will work. The programs and loaders that install the game data to the hard drive when FAT32 formatted as .wbfs files will split them so pieces are less than 4gig each. The loaders know how to rad this.
