    USB Loader not working

    I softmodded my Wii a month or so ago and USB Loader was working. Now when I use it for games that previously worked I get the error, "An error has occurred Press the eject button, remove game from the console. Please read the Wii operations manual ..."

    When I use the USB config I can run the games.

    Please help.

    Three things:

    1. Be careful where you post (posted in Wii U newbie section til I moved it here);
    2. Did you follow this guide when you softmodded? If not, you should.
    3. Post a SysCheck as described here in a reply to this thread.

    Sorry about posting in the wrong area.
    I did follow the guide and it was working for a while.
    I'll post the syscheck later.
    Thanks.

    Your SysCheck appears in order. So one loader works but the other doesn't? Are they using the same cIOS (the loaders) or differing ones from another? You could delete the folder and all config files and then re-install that particular loader (and reconfigure it).

    I'll have to try and check, I'm not sure how to check but I'll try and figure it out. Also a little unsure about the delete folder and all config files and then re-install.

    Okay I'm running IOS 249 and the program that could open the files was Configurable USB Loader.
    I restored the USB loader to defaults and changed the display to system default and it seems to be working.
    Thanks for your help.
