WBFS manager broke flash drive
I recently softmodded my wii to play games off my flash drive (32GB USB 2.0) and today i tried adding a new iso to my flash drive using WBFS manager while i was waiting WBFS manager decided to crash so i pulled out the flash drive an hour later i decided to try again but the flash drive didnt show up on my pc at all it didnt even make a noise when i put it in the pc (usualy it makes a noise to notify me when a device is connected to the pc) so i decided to see if the games still worked on the wii but it didnt show up on there either Is the any way to fix this? The red light on the flash drive still shows up when i connect it but the pc fails to recognize that anything was even inserted into it.

Try downloading EaseUS and use that to see if there is an unrecognized drive plugged in. If it recognizes it, format it to fat32 and use a prog such as WiiBackup Manager to install your game.
Hm no it hasnt recognized it whenever i plug it in the pc nothing recognizes it but in the wii it says the is a usb in there just cant use it Is the any way i can format it in the wii to fat 32 or something recognizable in my pc?
If you find an answer drop me a line as I have killed a few flash cards usb pen drives. with WBFS. (DRIVE IS LOCKED)type message. I only buy HDD With at least 5400 rpm. My theory is the solid state pen drives can't handle the data transfer and COOK. Hopefully someone will correct us, and save us all some cash. I small expense for knowledge though.

I have had this happen to me before. Leaving the drive plugged into the computer while I restarted worked in my case.
