    De-bluetoothing a Wii balance board

I am wishing to de-bluetooth a Wii balance board to make a wired connection from the WBB to the PC via a USB cable. Has anyone done this before? Is it possible just to desolder the bluetooth module and wire the TX/Rx/5v/etc pins up and feed them into the USB port? I will have drivers and S/W running to recieve the signal. We currently have the bluetoothed system talking to the PC, but I want it wired instead as the bluetooth is difficult to pair sometimes.

PS, this is being done to allow the balance of people with respect to time to be looked at via a PC.

I don't think it is possible to simply desolder the bluetooth module and then wire the pins up, as bluetooth and USB use different protocols. Perhaps it can be done using a microcontroller to do the transistion to USB, but it would involve a lot of hacking. Unless you are comfortable with programming microcontrollers and such, I would not recommend doing it.
Awesome sig picture does not work
