Best protection for Wii U Gamepad?

So I have heard the horror stories about damaged gamepads. Dogs tails knocking them over, kids blame each other, 5 year old drops onto hard wood floor.

    I have young kids....

Can anyone recommend any good armor for the Wii U Gamepad?

You can grab a Nerf armor case for $20 on Amazon. I don't know if it'd be the best, but it's certainly worth looking at.

I have looked at a quite a few. Ebay, GameStop, Wallyworld... I was leaning toward that nerf one because of the bounce vs shatter factor lol.

You're all scaring me with this thread. I already had the kids drop my old laptop last month.

I just realized Im asking about gamepad protection and at the same time hacking the poo out of my Wii U.... Maybe the best protection for a Wii U and gamepad for people like me is a straight jacket LOL

I've got the nerf game pad protector and I must say it works quite well. It also gives you a comfortable grip when using in your hands. With a variety of custom colors to choose from I would suggest this.

Personally, I never ever let the kids even touch the gamepad (ok, I had to allow the teens to use it when playing Mario Chase, but my six and under kids, no-touchie). I have the charger in the basement on my work bench, and when it's upstairs and not in use, it's on the highest shelf in the house.

I only use it when absolutely necessary. Usually, I just use my normal Wii remotes, since they work with both of the games that I own, and the Wii U menu as well.

PS -> I have a cat that LOVES the gamepad. I was playing Mario Bros one day and all of the sudden colored blocks started appearing. I looked over, and she was batting the gamepad screen, no doubt, trying to help me out! lol. Since the gamepad is usually in the basement, I also pull that with the kids too! Hahaha!
