Wii wont power up normally and remote controller wont shut it down

I softmoding my 4.3U wii using Mauifrogs guide and downgrading to 4.1U as the guide suggested, everything is working fine but the only thing now is that every time I power up/on my wii it goes to standby mode and I have to press the power button again in order for it to actually go to the main menu. It does it with the controller also. Also I can't shut it down with the controller,it just goes to standby mode again and it is a mild inconvenience but an inconvenience. I have a stock controller with motion plus built in and an aftermarket controller I got on ebay also with motion plus built I have tried both controllers and still get the same result....Any suggestions?

Home Brew Channel V1.1.2? Um, that's not what the guide installed if you followed it (that's for Wii-U). Reinstall HackMii with HBC V1.1.0

    Edit: IOS58 (rev 6432): USB 2.0 <-------- ????????????????

    Guide installs:

    IOS58 (rev 6176+): No Patches

I suspect there is a minor hardware difference in that Wii you have softmodded. If you look at all the revisions of IOS in the syscheck, the ones that stick out are all the 5919s and IOS58 v6432. None of those are available via NUSD, pretty non standard... Have you tried disabling Standby Mode?

Sorry guys I forgot to mention that I used Willbrand Launcher to install bootmii and HBC,the hackmii website did not work for my mac address it just kept telling me I needed a valid MAC address. So that might explain the HBC V1.1.2 Besides that everything else like the apps, wads, mod pack, priiloader I installed by fallowing the guide so I pretty much started fallowing the guide from Chapter 1 Part 3 I also skipped updates my IOS and shop channel because I had previously updated everything. Disabling Standby Mode is done in Priiloader System Menu Hacks correct?

Wait, a minute...that syscheck show the same stock IOS that are in the vWii on the Wii U. Are you messing with us here and trying to hack a Wii U here? If not, how the heck did you get the IOS from a Wii U onto your Wii?

Stir plot until thickened. That does seem really odd. On one hand, it can't be a vWii because none of the cIOS he has work on a vWii (and sysCheck doesn't work either, does it?). But on the other hand installing vWii IOS on a normal one will cause a brick (as far as I know, anyway). I smell a troll.

I have seen you online for a couple days now (I believe via itouch or similar) and yet not replied. What's the Wii's serial # (how new is it)?
