Question Jerky movement in Avatar loaded from WiiFlow

[First question on this forum. Sorry for any mistakes on my part.]

I have a black Wii, which I hacked following the great "Softmod Any Wii" guide by mauifrog (thanks!). Everything works great and I am using WiiFlow to backup my games to an NTFS partition on a USB disk and later launch them.

My son, who regularly plays Avatar (which I don't) has told me that when he loads the game from WiiFlow the controls don't work as smoothly as when he loads it from the original DVD. Sometimes the (very appropriately named in this case) avatar moves in circles and it becomes very hard to get out of that pattern. All the fine control becomes much harder.

I have seen him play both with the WiiFlow-loaded game and with the DVD one, and it is true that he, all of a sudden, sucks a lot more with the WiiFlow loaded one.

Does this make any sense? Is there any possible difference when loading the game from WiiFlow that would explain such odd behavior?

If this is obvious, apologies in advance. I did try searching for similar posts but found none. Thanks in advance.

Is your softmod and Wiiflow up to date? Wiiflow is now on version 4.1. Did you try loading the game with cIOS 250 instead of 249? Did you try loading the game from a different device to see if your current drive is not having issues?
