Can't play Godfather after softmod update

Hi - I am having an issue playing Godfather. I get a black that displays errors, but I can't get the information because it goes away so fast. The strange thing is I was able to play the game before I did the softmod update which I did by adding the Modpack. Is there a way to fix this?

How are you trying to play the game? USB loader? Burned disk? Retail disk?

Have you checked the troublesome games list? Link in my sig if you haven't.

    Post a sysCheck, too, please.

WiiFlow has gone through so many permutations. Which cIOS did you try? Some versions (later versions) are even made cIOS-specific, depending. Your cIOS as a whole look fine (though some show later versions than the "Softmod ANY Wii" guide with respect to the Hermes ones).

    Greetings in passing,

    nightstah

Nightstah hit it dead on. Could be you are using an older version of wiiflow that isnt compatible with the d2x cios. What version of WiiFlow are you using, along with what cIOS? In any case, you may want to try out the version of WiiFlow included in the app pack in the ANY Wii guide.

And real good to see ya nightstah!!!

Update your Homebrew Channel, you have HBC 1.0.8...we are on HBC 1.1.0.
    Download this >>Hackmii Installer<<.
Extract it and put the hackmii installer in your apps folder on the sd card.
Now go to HBC, then open the Hackmii and install the HBC...This will over write the older version.

Like said above, make sure your loaders are up to date and try the other loaders as well.

    Greetings in passing,

I haven't tried any of them. I just looked at the ones that are available and I wasn't sure which one to try. Is it o.k. to try each of them?

I was using Wiiflow 2.2 and Godfather was working fine. I do have Wiiflow 3.0, but I am the same issue with this one too. Also, for some reason now (after adding the addional cios's) the words in settings menu in both Wiiflow versions are a bit distorted and crunched up.

O.k. i will do this now. I noticed everytime I go to the Homebreww Channel it would ask me to do an update, but i wasn't sure if i was supposed to do it. I am very cautious about doing anything on my Wii without checking on here first. Thanks.

The error is Exception (DSI) Occurred

I just tried changing the cios. The ones I tried was 245, 246, 247, 248, 249, 250 and 251. None of these worked.

Grab the latest WiiFlow from here (version 4.0.5 at the moment). Also, you might try v4 of nte Hermes cIOS. You can get those through the Softmod Any Wii guide, although I don't know why that would change anything.

What could have changed to make Godfather stop working? If it was using an older cios wouldn't that still be available after I added the modpack?

Could be that the game somehow got corrupted. I have had that happen before. Try deleting the game from your drive, then re-ripping it.

Sent using the WiiHacks app. Please excuse the brevity, punctuation and spelling.
