Cool Can't Install Wads Anymore On Wii (Softmodded) (Downgraded from 4.3 to 4.1U)

Hey guys, my Wii stopped allowing me to install .wad files quite a while ago, and I was just wondering why this had happened. I'm using WAD Mananger v1.4, and it gives me:

    Installing WAD, please wait...
    >>Installing Title... ERROR! (ret = -1029)

    Press any button to continue...

I'm using it to install Wii game channels using Loadstructor 1.8

I just need some help on that, and how to fix it. Thank you very much!

I believe that that is a message you get from Wad Manager when you're using cIOS on a base other than 38. Try using WiiMod or MultiModManager, I don't think they have that issue. It could be another issue, but try that first.

EDIT: By "Wii game channels," do you mean Virtual Console/WiiWare games? Because copyright infringement is not supported by these forums.

IIRC Loadstructor simply allows you to create a channel for a backed-up game on sd or usb and launch it from the SM, bypassing using a loader of some kind. But yeah, MMM or WiiMod should fix those errors.

Thanks man, I used YAWMM, Yet Another Wad Manager, and it installed Super Smash Bros. for me. Yes this is a virtual console game channel.
