Question Black screen playing some NTSC games on PAL Wii

Basically I have imported 3 Wii games that are NTSC, one is ExciteBots which works fine with my USB loader GX, the other two I (Mario Super Sluggers and Lost in Shadow) though just give me a black screen after starting them, I even tried loading them from the disc with my Priiloader region free everything, same result. Anyone know whats up with this? ExciteBots works fine but nothing else, I don't think it's the rip since both games were brand new sealed when I got them. Thanks

Are you running the latest version of usbloaderGX. If not try updating it or try using cfg-usbloader. I don't think its got anything to do with the colour system. Normally NTSC games come out black and white when played on a PAL console.

Go to loader settings and force PAL on each of the games.

for PAL Wii to play NTSC games, the video must be set to Force PAL50 or PAL60
sometimes, need to change other game settings too (e.g. video patch)
and, if you've display problem, avoid to use component video. use composite video cable.

Had another go at playing around with the settings and managed to get the games working, thanks for all the help!

    Re-install your Homebrew Channel.
Your HBC is running off of ios 36 when it should be using ios58.
Download the Hackmii Installer, and extract it and put it in your Apps folder on the sd card .
Now go to the Homebrew channel and run the hackmii from there and re-install HBC.
Now it should be running off of ios 58.
